Tet. 6" bloom, 31" scape with 3 way branching (top V with 1 lateral branch), 15 buds on average. Midseason bloomer. Dormant foliage. Flower is a rose pink self with a lighter watermark above a green throat. Forms large, robust plants. The story behind this flower is that in the summer of 2014 Kim and I were invited to an engagement party celebration for the daughter of a high school friend of Kim's. In the middle of the reception after a large group photo of the attendees we were told to meet at the barn in 15 minutes where Megan and Graeme's surprise wedding took place. Nobody outside the immediate family and wedding party knew what was to take place! Of course nobody came with gifts. As both Megan and her mother were keen gardeners we thought it might be nice to commerate their "Big Surprise" with one of our own. (Love or Else x Jade Princess).
