Love Her Madly (Mussar, 2021) Tet. 7" bloom on 35" scapes with 3 way branching and a 12 bud count. It is an early season bloomer with semi evergreen foliage. The blooms are a baby ribbon pink with some ruffling on the petals and a large open form and a green throat. It is pinker in person than my photos show. The pod parent is a seedling out of (Tyler Too x Esperanza Gold) that is an extra early bloomer with a round form that carries the good pink genetics from Tyler Too. The pollen parent is Gil Stelter's Elsie Stelter which is an excellent pink and the first pink early bloomers in the garden. It is fertile both ways. The name, Love Her Madly comes from a great song by The Doors and is another in my efforts to improve the forms and colours in the early and extra early bloom season.
