This is Freckled Sunshine a 5.5" bloom that is heavily stippled with burgundy speckles over a light yellow to cream base with a yellow watermark and green throat. The watermark adds distinction that allows it to stand out against many of the other stippled cultivars. It is a dormant, early-midseason tet out of (Goldmist Red x Speckles) X Connect the Dots so it comes from a long line of speckled cultivars. I've registered it with 33" scapes, 3 way branching and 15 buds but it was growing in a long neglected area of the back field and I fully expect it to do better with normal garden care.
