Another One Bites The Dust (Mussar, 2020)

xxx

Another One Bites The Dust (Mussar, 2020). 6" bloom, 34" scape with 3 way branching and a 15 bud count. A mid season bloomer with semi evergreen foliage. Parentage is (Rose Electra x Heavenly Pastel) X Thistles and Thorns. Great rose pink with a pale watermark, diamond dusting, a green throat and a gold toothy edge.

This is a sibling to Princess Mardo another of my 2020 intros and the name comes from the great song by Queen. Seemed like a natural for a toothy daylily. This one is more of a rose pink while its sib is more on the lavender side. The edge comes from Karol Emmerich's Thistles and Thorns which has been a real good parent for me with a contribution from Reckamp's Heavenly Pastel. Bryan Culver's Rose Electra contributes the great colour and clarity. Has been a favourite here for several years and I saw some real nice kids from it this summer which I will add in the comments later.
