Aleksandra Ferraro

Aleksandra Ferraro (Mussar, 2021) Tet. 5.5" bloom on 35" scapes with 3 way branching and a 15 bud count. It is a mid to late season bloomer with semi-evergreen foliage. The flowers are a dark raspberry red with ruffled petals, a faint watermark above a green throat. This comes from a cross of Lyla Willat x Peoples Pleasure Park and is another that I grew and selected from surplus seedlings from my mentor Bryan Culver.

This is another plant selected by my Sensei Stephen Ferraro to recognize his family members late last year. Of all the potential seedling images I sent to him, this was his immediate choice to recognize the love of his life and the rock of the family, his wife Aleksandra, also known as Ola. Both the plant and the person are beauties! Good choices Sensei!
