The House

This is a shot of the front of our house taken early in the morning. The house faces southeast and my main hybridizing bed is around the corner on the right side. There are several daylilies in that front bed but this shot was taken almost 2 weeks prior to my first bloom this year.

An October view of the road in front of the house in full fall colour. Our driveway is on the left side of the road.

This beautiful daylily stained glass window was created by Cheryl Bales of Port Alberni, British Columbia. She created the pattern after viewing several images of some of my favourite pinks with green throats. You know you are a hemoholic when you not only decorate the outside of the house with daylilies but then you start on the inside of the house. Thanks Cheryl, it is beautiful!
