Our new home was modular in that it was built indoors over the winter and not subjected to rain or snow during the building process. The foundation was dug in March 2009 and delivery of the house was scheduled for April 7th.

This is how the property looked when we decided to buy this 2.55 acre lot.
Unfortunately this is not a view from our property but just down the road from our place where you can see part of the large lake at Montsberg Conservation area.
House being delivered using 5 flatbed trucks with the 3 main modules, a roof piece and framing and trusses for the garage that was built on site.
The monster crane arrives that will lift the modules into place.

Second module in place. You can see the fireplace and some siding and insulation that will be used to finish the exterior of the house. All the walls were fully finished, flooring in place and all wiring, plumbing installed ready to be hooked up in the basement.
