Pink Fanfare

PINK FANFARE (Whatley, 1991) Tet, 27" EM, 6" Dor.

Clear bright pink self with light green throat. (sdlg x Sedalia). Oscie describes this beauty by saying "This exceptionally bright clear pink with large green throat shows true pink at any distance. The top branched scapes are thin and graceful. Developed from converted Spalding pinks. It competes for the best colour saturation in pink and transmits this feature to its seedlings." This cultivar frequently gets mentioned when people discuss which are the best pink daylilies. I love the colour on this one! This is the plant that got me hooked on Whatleys.
