Saratoga Springtime x Esperenza Gold

This was a cross of my two earliest blooming tets. Both are registered as dormants but I'm not sure they in fact are however they have been proven to be very hardy. While this flower looks to be several decades old in form there are some interesting things about this plant. Yes it is a very early bloomer and very vigorous and hardy from both parents. This 3 year old seedling (2nd bloom period)had 4 scapes with 2 way branching and was pod fertile. Also interesting is the clarity of colour in that the flower has lost the eye and fulvous look of Saratoga Springtime. I expect that you could bring back the eye and keep the clarity of colour in crossing it to some Clarification kids. Anyway, I thought it was worth saving for breeding purposes.
