I made several crosses looking to get some extra early dormant bloomers. This one may be the best of this cross with the best colour. First bloom was about June 24th, 3 days after Stella D'Oro this year.
I did not mark this flower when it first bloomed in late June however in mid August it rebloomed. I then noticed that it had grown to 5 or 6 fans already. While this isn't the prettiest flower the combination of early bloom, rebloom and vigour makes it worth taking a second look at.
