I have 4 plants of this cross and all bloomed for the first time this year. Interestingly all 4 put up a pair of scapes on a single fan with the second scape blooming before the first finished.
This plant resembles in colour its SOMETHING WONDERFUL parent however RUFFLED STRAWBERRY PARFAIT has contributed a much tighter and intense ruffled edge. A pair of flowers bloomed the day before these two and both were attempting to double. You can see a bit of doubling in the second bloom in this picture. Notice the bit of sculpting that appears in the throat.
