Hollywood Lights is a grandkid from Reckamp's Techny Peace Lace and Priceless Gift is another by Brother Charles. This isn't the best picture but the flower is stunning. Easily 6.5" across the cream white literally glowed in the sunlight and held up well throughout the day. The ruffled gold edge is really striking. Even more impressive is that this first bloom seedling sent up a pair of scapes out of the same single fan!
This picture was taken in early August 2006, before 7:00 am. You can see how early and well this flower opens. It was still blooming strongly 3 weeks later and the rebloom scapes had not yet started to open.
